Steve & Becky

We first met Steve and Becky at a wedding fair last year and instantly knew they were our kind of people; Cat lovers, down to earth and up for a laugh.

Their day would take place in the opulent and delightful surroundings of Hampton Manor in Hampton-In-Arden. The day itself was an absolute scorcher and the whole wedding was bathed in beautiful summer sunlight.

The Birches at Hampton was the setting for the beautiful ceremony and guests helped themselves to ice water to combat the soaring temperatures (a nice touch, and a necessary one at that!) and after a few celebratory drinks we moved on to group shots which we eventually opted for the shade under a beautiful nearby tree.

We were spoiled by the stunning surroundings in the grounds of the manor for a wealth of beautiful photo opportunities for Steve & Becky’s couples shots and as the sun dipped lower in the sky the true beauty of the area became even more apparent.

The afternoon turned into evening and after a lovey dinner and some wonderful speeches, guests reclined in the inviting outdoor sofas and exchanged pleasantries. Finally before we departed we were privy to some fairly epic dance moves as the evening festivities began with full force. Dance offs and laughs aplenty were shared.

A great day was had by all and we had a ball. We look forward to shooting many more weddings at Hampton Manor in the future as it is tailor made for truly stunning English country garden weddings.

Sam & Sabrina

The Cotswolds is one of our favourite parts of the country to photograph weddings so any excuse to venture down that way is one that we will relish.

Sam and Sabrina chose the breathtaking town of Chipping Campden as the location for their beautiful wedding. It’s the kind of town which I imagine tourists picture to be the quintessential English countryside experience. Beautiful yellow hues from the Cotswold stone and stunning architecture was on show at every turn. We knew we were not going to struggle for photo spots!

The church ceremony was a wonderful affair. Every person we pointed out camera out was beaming with joy. And although Sam and Sabrina were technically the stars of the show, special mention has to go their beautiful 8 month old daughter Amelia who was an absolute star on the day and the picture of cuteness in her adorable little white dress.

From the church we made a quick procession through town to Cotswold House Hotel, nestled in amongst the cozy backstreets of Chipping Campden. The venue was dressed to impressed and plenty of lovely little touches were added to cater for some of the kids (and big kids) who were present on the day.

The gardens of the hotel were the backdrop for all the family and couple photos and a lovely backdrop it was too.

It was evident from the outset that the love between family and friends was strong on this day. Lots of smiles, lots of laughs and more than a couple of happy tears.
