Crockwell Farm – Ed & Adele
Right from the outset we could tell that Ed and Adele were going to be our kind of couple. We met up with them at their home a few weeks before the wedding to go over some of the finer details of the day. Their house was full of little trinkets and pieces of decoration for the big day, all created with love and care by friends, family and the couple themselves. You could really tell their flair for the theatrics was going to translate well to their wedding day.
Crockwell Farm was the venue of choice and what a stunning place it was! Surrounded by lush countryside, beautiful walled gardens and stunning weeping willows. It was safe to say that were weren’t going to be left wanting for truly gorgeous spots for photographs.
In the morning, Georgie spent a few hours with Adele and her bridesmaids and enjoyed all the laughter and friendship shown between the girls. I scouted out the venue and walked around the empty reception room and was taken aback by how stunning all of the decorations were and how much love and time was put into every aspect from the customised guestbook to the heartwarming hand drawn table plan. Special touches like these make your day personal to you and we certainly took inspiration from Ed and Adele when we added our own sprinkles of individuality to our own wedding day back in August.
The day was as much a celebration with loved ones as it was a wedding day. Every time we raised camera to eye we were greeted by beaming smiling faces and laughter. We took the couple away for a few shots of the couple alone and the love between them was so obvious and so unabashed. They were a dream to photograph and their day left us with a very warm fuzzy feeling of contentment.
